Deposit deductions can also cover damage, missing items, unpaid rent, or disputes unrelated to cleaning, all of which are between you and your landlord or agent, not us. What we do guarantee is the cleaning itself: we follow the same checklist letting agents use at checkout, and if a genuine cleaning issue is raised within 7 days of the clean, we return and fix it free of charge, no questions asked. To give yourself the best chance at checkout, take dated photos of every room straight after we finish, and compare the property against your original check-in inventory so any pre-existing issues are already on record. Book your clean as close to moving-out day as possible too, so nothing gets re-dirtied before the final inspection happens.

Ideally, the property should be fully empty (all furniture, belongings, and rubbish removed), since we're cleaning the property itself, not packing or moving items. Make sure the utilities (water, electricity) are still connected on the day, as we need both to clean properly, and leave any relevant meter readings somewhere visible if your agent has asked for them. If you're handing over keys without being present, just make sure we have access arranged in advance (key safe, agent, or a neighbour) and let us know about anything specific the inventory report or your landlord has flagged, so we can pay extra attention to it. Parking instructions are helpful too, especially on residential streets with restrictions, and let us know if bin day falls during the visit so rubbish can go out properly.
